Orders & Shipping
Q: Where do you ship?
We currently ship throughout South Africa via courier with door-to-door delivery.
Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 working days. Delivery times may vary depending on your location but generally arrive within 2–5 days.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
We offer FREE delivery on all orders over R549. For orders under that amount, a flat delivery fee of R85 applies.
Q: Do you offer international shipping?
Not at the moment, but we’re working on it!
Payments
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure payments via Yoco, which includes Visa, Mastercard, and debit cards, Google Pay and Instant EFT.
Q: Is my payment secure?
Yes! All transactions are processed via Yoco’s secure encrypted platform. We do not store any card information.
Q: Can I pay in installments?
We currently do not offer payment plans, but we’re exploring this for the future.
Product Questions
Q: Are your products safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Yes and no. Some products (like our Calm and Regrow Elixirs) contain essential oils not recommended during pregnancy. We offer a special breastfeeding-safe version of the Regrow Elixir that is free from essential oils.
Q: How long before I see results?
Consistent use over 4–6 weeks typically shows visible results. Hair growth and scalp healing take time and consistency.
Q: Can I use more than one elixir at a time?
Yes! Our products are designed to be used together or rotated based on your needs. The Ritual Trio was created for that exact reason.
Q: Are your elixirs oily or greasy?
They’re lightweight and fast-absorbing compared to typical hair oils. We recommend starting with a few drops and building up based on your scalp or strand needs.
Returns & Refunds
Q: What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If your order arrives damaged or there’s an issue, please contact us within 24 hours for assistance.
Q: What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Please email us as soon as possible at hello@shopamari.co.za. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll update it. If it’s already in transit, we’ll do our best to help.
Using Amari
Q: How do I know which elixir to choose?
- Choose Regrow if you’re experiencing thinning, hairline loss or postpartum shedding.
- Choose Calm if you have itchiness, flaking, or scalp irritation.
- Choose Strengthen if your hair is breaking, brittle or damaged.
- Or start with the Ritual Trio to experience the full ritual.
Q: How often should I apply the oil?
2–3 times a week is ideal. You can also use it as a pre-wash treatment, nighttime ritual, or protective style scalp treatment.
Q: Will it make my hair grow faster?
Our elixirs are designed to support a healthy scalp environment and promote regrowth. Results vary by individual, but many customers report significant improvements in growth, thickness, and scalp comfort.
